PMA organised a two-day meeting with team building and the Annual General Meeting at Maryhill Estate on 23–24 June. After the lunch, members were divided into groups to take part in a workshop with Unitedprofile. Participants played golf, padel or tennis and enjoyed perfect weather for relaxing by the pool before dinner. At the Annual General Meeting, the members decided to give renewed confidence to the chairman, Håkan Pettersson, who will continue in the role. To ensure continuity in the work with the association’s new vision, which began last year, the members also decided to retain the Board, consisting of board members Oskar Dahlin (Vinga), Cecilia Dellham (Exakt Sthlm), Christopher Krutrök (Creon Promotion), Pelle Lundström (Solo Midocean), Robert Lindström (formerly Company Line), Frida Pedersen (House of Regalo) and deputy board member Marika Dahlén (Dahléns Konfektion). Lobbying
During spring 2026, the PMA Board held an initial meeting at the Ministry of Finance in Stockholm. Dialogue with politicians is ongoing.
New and existing partnersAt the most recent Annual General Meeting, the Board presented several new partners. Members will receive preferential rates when signing agreements with 3Företag (telephony), Scrive (online e-signing) and Lupper (automatic segments and newsletters). During the autumn, the website will be updated with all the information.
PMA already collaborates with IRM – the Institute for Advertising and Media Statistics (the Reklamkakan survey), the Nordic Textile Academy (training), Unitedprofile (statistics and IT trends), DHL Freight (logistics), Strawberry (hotels), Elmia (trade fairs) and House of People (conferences and events).

The process regarding a new association 2023–2025
The Boards of SBPR and PMA have met on several occasions and discussed how we, as associations, can work together to help develop and strengthen the product media industry in Sweden going forward. Following the joint information meeting on 11 December 2023, PMA held its first Extraordinary General Meeting on 15 January 2024 to vote on the proposed changes to the statutes. SBPR held a meeting with its members regarding the proposal to dissolve SBPR. SBPR’s members also voted in favour of the process moving forward. PMA held a second Extraordinary General Meeting on 13 May at Quality Hotel Match in Jönköping to vote on the proposed new statutes, which we reviewed at our information meeting on 10 April in Viared. There were 31 voting members present. The outcome of the vote was as follows: 26 YES, 4 NO, and 1 abstention. At the Annual General Meeting on 18 June, the members approved the proposal by a clear majority: 41 YES and 1 NO. This means that the members of PMA have, by a significant majority, voted in favour of amending our statutes and opening up the association to welcome new members within the product media industry.
During autumn 2024, SBPR worked on dissolving the association and finalising the practical aspects of its operations. The decision was made at SBPR’s Annual General Meeting on 3 April. At the same time, PMA prepared to welcome new members, and PMA’s new Board began the work of shaping a vision for the association’s future and new name. The Board consisted of Chairman Roger Nilsson, Board members Håkan Pettersson (formerly Tg-H), Per Lundström (Midocean), Johan Strand (Fruit Distribution), Oskar Dahlin (Vinga), Lars Rubensson (Prident), Robert Lindström (Company Line), and Deputy Board Member Marika Dahlén (Dahléns Konfektion). The first Board meeting was held on 19 August at Product MediaHouse in Stockholm. A working group consisting of Roger Nilsson, Håkan Pettersson and Robert Lindström was appointed to develop a new budget, new guidelines, and a proposal for how PMA should invite former SBPR members to join our industry association in accordance with the new statutes. The latter was communicated to the industry via a press release on 23 September, after SBPR had invited its former members by letter on 20 September. During Q1 2025, the PMA Board presented the association’s new name and vision. Read more in attached pressrelease

History of past PMA fairs & events
During the pandemic, we had to adjust and think flexibly! We had a close dialogue with our partner Elmia where we were forced to cancel the physical fairs in August 2020, January 2021, August 2021 and January 2022. Instead, we had the opportunity to develop a digital exhibition platform as a complement together with our partner OnlineMassan.com and arranged 3 digital fairs in August 2020, January 2021 and August 2021. The result was a hybrid fair in August 2022 that became a successful concept and was staged a total of 5 times!
Nordic Profile Fair Online - The Product Media Industry's First Online Fair
PMA organized Nordic Profile Fair Online in cooperation with Onlinemässan during the pandemic. We see the online fair as a future complement to our physical fairs and something that has absolutely developed the industry. An online fair reaches all customers from north to south, more people at the company get the opportunity to take part in product news and the online fair has a strong environmental profile, which also focuses on the current sustainability issue. When the first online fair was launched in August 2020, it was attended by 1565 visitors and 16 exhibitors were the first to test digitally. During the second Nordic Profile Fair online in January 2021, 32 exhibitors exhibited and the online fair had over 5400 visitors. Our third fair in August 2021 was bigger than the previous autumn with 19 exhibitors visited by 2370 visitors. Nordic Profile Fair Online was back as an exciting hybrid fair 17 August - 2 September 2022 with digital exhibitors, lecturers and LIVE reports from Elmia in Jönköping. The second hybrid fair was held January 17 - February 3, 2023, the third August - September 1, 2023, the fourth January 17 - February 2, 2023, and now most recently the 5th edition August 19 - August 30, 2024.
