Product Media Association Invites Entire Industry to This Year's Big Meeting Place

For two days, we gather at the House of People for product presentations, lectures and networking.

At the same time, Product Media House and Promotion Gallery will be open on January 20—22 at Barnhusgatan 16.

The product demonstrations is of course free and for those of you who come around lunchtime we offer a light lunch. Event ticket for 3 lectures, award ceremony of ProduktmediaBiet and party evening with 3-course, 2 drink tickets and DJ costs 995 SEK/person + VAT.

Peter Jihde

Peter Jihde is a journalist, presenter, editor, producer, author, lecturer, moderator, conferencier and coach.Peter has for three decades worked in Sweden and internationally with television and radio journalism in several different genres. He has programmed sports championships, news, current affairs programmes, entertainment, election programmes, documentaries, morning programmes, talkshows and galas on TV4, SVT, Sveriges Radio, TV3 and Viaplay.

Together with his wife Karin, Peter has written the book Jihdes Diabetes: A Match for Life (Volante) and has also given several major talks about the disease he suffered from in 2012.

Peter has acted as moderator during several major conferences for Vaskronan, Reitan AS and Husman/Hagberg.With thirty years of experience as a television maker, Peter lectures on how to build a good story, how to manage your nervousness and how to make the audience remember what you tell. Three clear tips. He has given rhetoric lectures for Novare, Visma Commerce and Sparbankernas riksförbund, among others.

The diabetes talk “A Match for Life” gives a picture of the growing, incurable and deadly disease diabetes type 1 and Peter's way of tackling it. Horrible but hopefully-told.

Peter has also led trainings for presenters at both SVT sport and TV4 sport.

We have received many nominations and the actors in each category who received the most nominations were entered in a final vote where the industry voted for the worthy winners. They will be announced at the award ceremony on January 21, 2026 at the Product Media Days at House of People.

The prize is awarded to a manufacturing/importer/wholesaler company with established and permanent operations in Sweden. The industry nominates here with justifications.

Criteria:

  • A supplier with several Swedish customers in its portfolio
  • High level of service, good quality management and delivery reliability
  • Innovative thinking as a partner for its customers
  • Good quality of products
  • Actively working on sustainability issues
  • Creating good customer relationships
  • Contributes to the development of the industry
  • Stable economy
Retailer of the Year 2025

The award is awarded to a company in the distributor ranks with established permanent operations in Sweden. The industry nominates here with justifications.

Criteria:

  • High level of service and good quality management
  • Innovative thinking as a partner for its customers
  • Looking for new sales opportunities
  • Delivering with quality
  • Actively working on sustainability issues
  • Creating good customer relationships
  • Contributes to the development of the industry
  • Stable economy
Sustainability Award 2025

The prize can be awarded to a person or an activity. The industry nominates here with justifications. You cannot nominate your own business or yourself.

Criteria:

  • A supplier or distributor that has made a contribution to the environment, either in its own business or for the industry
  • Drives environmental and sustainability issues
  • Innovative thinking and striving for improvement
  • Contributes to the development of the industry
Project of the Year 2025

The prize is awarded to a project group or an activity. The competition entries must be produced by a Swedish buyer in cooperation with a Swedish operator. The industry nominates here with justifications. It is allowed to nominate your own business.

Criteria:

  • Creative solutions where the product medium has reached out and played a prominent role
  • The project must have an effect and demonstrate achievement of the objectives
  • Relevance and clarity
  • Good judgment, valid both in messages and in the choice of products
