More lecturers ready for the stage at Nordic Profile Fair!
What happens on stage? Listen to the speakers at the August Fair!
Nordic Profile Fair is attended by several interesting lecturers. Some of them were presented in our previous blog: Beskow von Post and AI with Tina. Now it is also clear that our course leader Marcea van Doorn will come to the fair to tell you more about the EU directive and the girls from the Nordic Textile Academy will hold an interesting panel discussion with various industry players about how we should think about labelling. You will find the scene C 02:08 inside the exhibition hall. There will also be a café with the opportunity to settle down for a coffee, a coffee, a simple lunch or a meeting. On the last day of the fair, PMA/ELMIA will also award the prize for “Best Stand”.
“EU laws & regulations”
Marcea van Doorn, ESG Manager at Solo Midocean, is a guest at Nordic Profile Fair. Marcea is also a course leader at the CSRD Academy, which PMA started in the spring. The Paris Agreement to which the EU has committed itself comes the various EU directives that our industry needs to deal with. The Directives are to be implemented in stages from 2025 to 2050. Take the opportunity to ask questions after the lecture!

Together with his clients, Beskow von Post leads the development of circular design. It is designing for the future where waste becomes a resource, as a long-term and circular business. Listen to the company's founders, Susanne Beskow and Caroline von Post, senior experts in sustainability, circular economy and upcycling design.

“Smart AI & Chat GPT”
Tina Algeskäer, the founder behind AI with Tina has helped many beginners take their first steps with AI tools like ChatGPT, her goal is to make AI understandable, useful and fun. With everyday examples and generous self-distance, she has become an AI wizard with a twinkle in her eye. Others describe her as easy going, inspiring and just right nerdy, come and decide for yourself!

“Log on - lifespan of?”
What happens to a garment when the logo is no longer relevant? Can labelling become an enabler — rather than an obstacle — for circular profile textiles? Ingrid Grankvist, Head of Design at the Nordic Textile Academy, talks about this. This is followed by talks with the Nordic Textile Academy, Beskow von Post and industry players who share their perspectives on how we can design, label and think more circularly about profile garments.

next Nordic Profile Fair will be held on 13-14 August 2025 at Elmia in Jönköping. At the fair you will meet the right supplier, get the opportunity to make new contacts, nurture the relationships you have and above all get a personal meeting with everyone who works in the product media industry.
